Doug Deforest has been in the music industry for over four decades. His love affair with music and hatred for shoes both began in 1972, and over the years has worked with, produced or recorded with such artists as Mickey Gilley, Pam Tillis, Glenn Campbell, Tony Orlando, Ray Price, Blessid Union of Souls, and many many more. Award winning records include ECMA record of the year in 2006, single of the year, AWA record of the year and single of the year, 2004 independent record of the year, 2008  and 2011 Dutch CMA record of the year.
